Another trip to Koh Samui (Koh means island)


This time I spent 11 days there. This was a business trip but I was so lucky to get some days off and this time i took an opportunity to join a day trip to Koh Tao and Koh Nang Yuan. I would have another post for this. So with this note i will just talk about Samui.

I stayed at Bandara Resort and Spa, Samui on Bo Phut Beach which is about 15 mins from the airport and famous Chaweng Beach. My room was pretty nice and cozy as usual but this time i am not going to post a pic of my room again ( I already did review the resort in my previous post).

A letter to friend

I was asked to write a poem as an illustration in our IVEP vdo which will be given in the year-end conference. And this poem came out. Hope u like it.

A letter to friend

My friend, I guess you have no idea of what you have brought into my life

Remember, the first time we met?
And you gave me the misconception about you…
The thought that you were shy and quiet…
I was totally wrong, when you revealed the hidden truth...
That it was just that your English then wasn’t good enough
Oh now, how I wish that it was actually still true… (Cuz you now talk…a lot…)
But it’s fine…You know why?

Remember, the first joke you told?
I have to confess that it wasn’t funny,
In fact, it was the unfunniest joke I’ve ever heard and I didn’t get it at all.
But I still laughed… You know why?

Remember, the first time you skied?
I laughed at you cus you really looked funny and you were mad.
Later I found out that I wasn’t any better, in fact, I was worse.
You fell twice. I fell thrice.
But it didn’t matter… You know why?

Now the time has come for farewell and I have to tell you the reason why…
It’s all because I care (and I know you do too).

It’s not easy to say to you, “goodbye”
The laughter, the tears, the joy, the happiness we’ve shared will always be here…(in my heart)

Eyes, look you last
Arms, embrace you before we part
Lips, say I’ll miss you
Heart, remember and love you just the way you are

Well, now it’s really time to go, but…
I will not say the word “goodbye”
I’d rather say, “take care and see you later alligator”
Please don’t ask me why…
You got me… when you first said hi…
